> North Mallorca
Around its breathtaking shoreline, there is so much to see. Here, you have a choice of activities thanks to the bustling harbours, quaint coves, and long stretches of sand.
Cap de Formentor, a charming lighthouse is located at the end of a famous driving and cycling route that follows a dramatic coastline. The peninsular also has adorable cove beaches and rocky inlets for those who want to go exploring. Take a ten-minute drive to Puerto Pollensa, the sandy beach there has cafes, restaurants, and water sports facilities to keep everyone entertained.
There are remnants of Mallorca's past all around the island. For instance, the public can now visit the Roman town Pollentia's ruins in North Mallorca after they were recently discovered and excavated (not to be confused with the nearby modern Pollensa).
In the old towns of North Mallorca, it's simple to gain a feel of more recent history. Buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries can be found as you wander Pollensa's cobbled alleyways.
Access to Palma
It's easy to forget how big Mallorca is because there are so many interesting sites to discover here. To go to Puerto Pollensa on the opposite shore, you can drive there in less than an hour from the Palma airport.
This includes not just rapid access to and from the airport but also a variety of possibilities for day trips and quick getaways. The historic train that travels between Palma and Soller dates back to 1912, did you know? or that the island has a number of natural parks?

A Cyclist’s paradise
The cycling in North Mallorca is well-known. You might even recognise a familiar face or two as they race around the winding courses. Sir Bradly Wiggins, a five-time Olympic gold medalist and Tour de France champion, is just one of the well-known riders who have fallen for North Mallorca's attraction.
A World UNESCO Heritage site
When viewed from a distance, Mallorca's west coast is bordered by the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, which cuts a stunning and dramatic silhouette. But up close, it appears to be much more amazing.
The mountain range offers a distinctive and picturesque scenery, complete with olive trees and woodland vegetation, with cities and villages tucked in its valleys and hiking paths.

In terms of real estate, the north of Mallorca has a little bit of everything. There is something for everyone here, whether you're looking for a modern villa, a rustic finca, a historic townhouse, or a front-row apartment.
